Areas of Focus
Every area of mental health I work in is approached with evidence-based methods, cultural sensitivity, and genuine compassion. If you are unsure whether your concern fits here, book a free consultation and we will figure it out together.
Anxiety & Depression
Comprehensive treatment for generalized anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, major depressive disorder, and persistent depressive disorder. Using evidence-based approaches including CBT, behavioral activation, and mindfulness-based interventions. Many clients notice meaningful change within several sessions when anxious thoughts and low mood begin to feel less overwhelming.
Maternal Mental Health
Specialized support for perinatal and postpartum mental health challenges. This includes prenatal depression, postpartum depression, maternal anxiety, and adjustment difficulties during the transition to motherhood. Drawing on WHO Problem Management Plus (PM+) — work I have delivered with mothers across Nepal — I create a non-judgmental space where new mothers can be heard without shame.
Trauma & Grief
Trauma-informed therapy for PTSD, complex trauma, acute stress, grief, and loss. Using approaches that honor the body-mind connection and promote natural healing processes. Sessions are paced to your comfort — you never have to revisit details before you feel ready, and your safety leads the process at every step.
Adolescent Counseling
Developmentally appropriate interventions for teenagers dealing with academic pressure, social challenges, family conflict, identity exploration, self-esteem issues, and early signs of mental health concerns. I work with both the adolescent and the family system so that support continues beyond the session.
Substance Use Concerns
Compassionate, non-judgmental support for individuals struggling with substance use. Using harm reduction principles and motivational approaches to support recovery. We start from where you are — without judgment and without a fixed agenda — and build a sustainable plan together.
Psychosocial Support
Holistic well-being support addressing the intersection of social, emotional, economic, and environmental factors affecting mental health. Particularly valuable for individuals facing multiple stressors. This is often combined with case management and community referrals so that care is realistic for your daily life.
